Requirements:

• B–Com in Business Management / LLB or related field / Political Science / Social Science
• Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
• Extensive experience in Policy Development
• Experience in managing constitutional meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and ensuring
compliance with statutory requirements.
• Strategy implementation, monitoring and evaluation
• Coordination of Organisational Reporting
• Three (03) years Senior Management experience
• Five (05) years Corporate Services Manager experience
• Trade Union experience will be an added advantage

Major Responsibilities:

• Strategic Brand development and positioning, maintenance monitoring and management of POPCRU
image.
• Develop Policies, Procedures and systems to support execution of strategy.
• Develops framework to guide work process flow within POPCRU
• Operational Sponsor for project office
• Coordinate Strategic Organisational Meetings as per POPCRU Constitution.
• Manages budget for the Secretariat Department
• Operational Reporting.
• Performance Management of the Organisation
• Cross Functional duties
• Research & Policy Development
• Manage the year planner of constitutional meetings and ensure compliance with notice and disclosure
requirements.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations, assess their impact, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between different structures of the Organisation.
• Plan, Coordinate and manage the efficiency of the Organisation
• Administrative support services through working with NOBs, Legal, Regulatory & Framework
• Representing the Organisation in Different Stakeholders’ meetings
• Develop, implement and manage HR Systems that will promote a healthy environment
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws including Occupational Health and Safety, representation and
committees
• Ensure Training & Development of staff
• Implement evaluation systems for performance
• Manage all constitutional meetings’ information and records
• Liaise with Regulatory Bodies and all Bargaining Councils
• Coordinate International Relations matters
• Develop strategy for media and digital technology
• Manage Organisational Parliamentary Processes
