POPCRU rejects the specious charges levelled against Cde Loyiso Mdingi

The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (POPCRU) notes with disdain the unwarranted, spurious charges levelled against the POPCRU Eastern Cape Provincial Chairperson, Cde Loyiso Mdingi.

Cde Mdingi was charged and found guilty by management for representing POPCRU at a memorial service.

Discipline is within the lifeblood of POPCRU members, and any attempt at disrupting unity and sowing divisions within our union, through such acts of intimidation, will be met with the refutation it deserves.

We want to categorically state that we are not going to accept any form of intimidation by management, at any level of our organisation.

We can draw inference that the current acting Head of the Hawks is taking instructions from Mr Nhlemeza, and this must come to an end.

We believe this attack on Cde Mdingi is a veiled attack on the union as a whole, and want to assure those abusing their powers that no amount of intimidation shall scatter us.
