The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (POPCRU) will next week hold its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting. The NEC carries out the day to day running of the Union.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider a report from the Secretariat on activities of each department and all provinces and give direction where necessity. It will assess progress on the implementation of POPCRU decisions.
The NEC will, among other issues, discuss the current state the criminal justice cluster, the state of the alliance and the political situation our country finds itself.
